Auditing Division

The Department’s Auditors are tasked with ensuring Broker compliance with the statutes and Commissioner’s Rules through education and the performance of broker audits.

The Audit Trail consists of the following:

1. Contract Copies
2. Receipts, Client Ledgers, Cash Records
3. Bank / Escrow Records
4. Closing Statements, Owner Reports

If the Broker follows the Audit Trail correctly, the result will be a “clean audit”.
